How do I do a Styrofoam tile backsplash?

i saw a project where they used styrofoam tiles and painted for backsplash. Where is it?

I don't know where it is but Styrofoam melts easily with heat and would be difficult to clean. Doesn't seem practical for behind a stove or backsplash in a working kitchen. Just a thought
