Doing tile is not so hard. Be sure to get the tile in sheets. The preparation is the key. Take your time.
We tiled our shower and it is intimidating. We took a tiling class at our local home center and learned the basics and the shower turned out beautiful. By taking the class and asking a million questions gave us the confidence to do the job. I hope this helps you.
We put laminate sheeting in our shower
It is much cleaner use corner strips and capping on the bottom we used silastic.
This is less maintenance also.
