Invest in cutting boards and trivits. I have loads of them, from casual to more formal. Even though I have tile countertops, I never place a piping hot glass baking dish on a cold countertop without at least a double dish towel down first.Helpful Reply -

I would use several coats of acrylic. Sand in between so you do not get bubbles.Helpful Reply- See 1 previous
