How to Drill a Hole in a Sea Shell

This little project is very easy if you have the right tools. All that’s needed is a sea shell and a small hand drill.
The hand drill was purchased from Michaels craft store in the jewelry making department. It can be purchased anywhere jewelry making supplies are sold or from a hardware store. The little drill is used for making holes in sheets of metal.
To make the hole simply mark on the shell where the hole will go, place the hand drill bit and start turning in a clockwise motion.

Arlene, where did you get those pristine seashells? I think they would be a great neckless or an ornament for a handbag or even a Christmas Tree. Pardon my feminine side :-) Some rawhide strings would be cool. -
