How to secure a pallet?
I want to secure a pallet after I paint it to hide my ugly outdoor garbage can. How should I secure it in the ground and keep it up off the ground so it doesn't rot faster. I do plan on painting it and sealing it to keep water out.

Either dig some post holes and insert treated 4x4s into concrete, and then screw pallet on when concrete is dried. -

Build a platform base and use 2x4's to make legs what ever hight you want them PAINT the legs with that before you burry them in the ground.I DID THIS 6YEARS SHO & THERE STILL GOOD NOT ROTTED.HOPE THIS HELPS U OUT. -

Aimee,I FORGOT TO MENTION TO USE PRESSURE TREATED WOOD & PAINT THE LEGS WITH TAR.
