How can I upcycle leftover floor tiles?

I have quite a few left over floor tiles (12 by 12) Any suggestions on what to use them for or make with them other than for floors?

Hi Valerie, you could make trivets for your counter top or table, and here is a list of other great things you can do with leftover tiles

If you are talking about peel and stick vinyl tiles I have used them to line my under the sink kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I have also used them in my upper kitchen cabinets to line the shelves and in the drawers. I love that I don't have to worry about any water leaking onto the floor of the under the sink cabinets due to a plumbing issue! I have also used them on wire shelves to have a flat surface for canned goods and boots/shoes. I just laid the tiles on those shelves rather than try to attach them.
Valerie: maybe these will help

Valarie...what material are the tiles?
Hi! I like them under my sinks for easy clean-up, on top of my cupboards for the same reason.
I am waiting patiently for an answer to porcelain or ceramic tiles. I have tons left over but not enough of the same kind to do a small floor. I have used some tiles on my window sills and love them there.
You could also use them as a backsplash depending on how many you have.
Depending on the size you can make wall art.
They make great liners for shelves that hold messy items. Especially in a garage.

Under the cabinets is something l have done but mod podge with 1 ply napkin in a series using a plate stand is really pretty
Coasters are an idea...you could decorate them. I've lined my pantry shelf where the honey, syrup, sticky bottles go, easy to wipe down. I've lined the floor of my grands playhouse with them. Great for under planters you may have in the house or outside. Or you could do this idea:
