One of mine is a tablet and cell phone charging station in a kitchen. Top drawer has all the labeled cords. Handy, yet out of sight. Bottom drawer has phone books, paper, pens, pencils markers, ruler, tape measure, scissors, etc. Also keep my backyard sunglasses in there too.

I took out drawers, flipped on side, refinished, store brooms, mop and bucket, kids sports equipment, etc.

If you like to sew and have lots of pieces of fabric, hang the fabric on hanging files. It'll keep your fabric clean and organized.
