You can repaint it. Or you can repurpose it. I always kept one in my kids closet when they were babies for all the little clothes, socks, onesies, shoes, etc. After they were older, I repurposed it to hold unused picture frames, Pictures that are old like my parents wedding picture, table cloths, all kinds of things that I couldn't find a safe place to put.
