How can I have some privacy/cover this portable AC?

Imagine six windows, three across and one on top of the other. Only the middle one on top opens by sliding to the left. I have a portable AC that I roll in front. Now it is in front of the lower window Nd I can't really lower the shade.
Even if I roll the AC to the right to cover the beam, the tubes prevent me from lowering the shade.
I thought of a poll going across with a shade, but I'd also need a second for the top.
If it would hide the AC, that would be great.
