How can I make this window look better?

This kitchen window looks out onto my lanai, what can I do to make it look better ???
Add 2" faux wood blinds inside mount.
Does the tv live there? Does it need to? I would move the tv and set the area up as a snack bar or buffet. On the inside, I would hang pretty curtains that compliment your decor and open when you need to use as a pass thru for food and beverages.
How about Using a tension rod to hang a window valance. No tools needed and the window will have a finished look in the lanai.
**You can buy or sew a theme valance, like sunflowers for example , then add a sunflower vase or a sunflower pillow in the lanai and your decorating is all tied together....
