Margaret on Sep 11, 2015Do you need a "half wall" or room divider or a sofa table...then connect them side by side (can screw together for re-enforcement) and put a one piece granite top over both to look like it's one piece. If you cannot afford granite, you can do a simple wooden top in a white or linen color--leaving the bottom a wood tone color.Helpful Reply

Kathy Heimann on Sep 12, 2015If they aren't too large you could put them sideways on a wall in the bathroom and store rolled towels, decor, etc in between the shelves and on topHelpful Reply

Z on Sep 12, 2015@Pauline, if you can share photos of them I'd be more than happy to come up with ideas. I enjoy repurposing furniture, but a visual works better to get my creative juices flowing. There are so many different styles of short book cases out there. Though I love to help, I'd be wasting both our time by coming up with ideas that wouldn't work for the ones you have. Also, an idea of where you would like to use them and your decorating style.Helpful Reply
