DIY Candy Corn Bottle Vases

I have bottle collection that includes a few empty Starbucks Frappuccino bottles. I think they look a lot like milk bottles, and I usually use them as vases around the home. Since I love candy corn, and it's fall, I gave some of these old bottles a new look and turned them into candy corn vases!
You can find bottles like this in the craft store, but if you already have similar ones, it's much cheaper to use those and just repurpose them.
I took them outside for a little bit of spray-paint magic. It wasn't easy to get the lines neat, but I figured that real candy corn isn't perfect looking either! My kiddos also confirmed this when I was touching up the lines with a little bit of craft paint!
After the paint was dry, I added a little bit of twine around the top. You can't really see the twine after the flowers are in, but it just gives the vases a little extra something!
Then, I just added some faux flowers, since it's still warm here, and this little project was done! You can see more photos and info on the blog. :)

Thanks for sharing, Dee! I have avoided Rust-Oleum because it doesn't say it can be used on glass. But now I'll give it a try.
