Buying fall decor from the dollar store is a budget friendly way to decorate for the season, but many of the decor items can look, well, cheap. It's easy to take a cheap carve-able pumpkin from the dollar store and transform it into chic fall decor by using paint and a handmade paper flower. Use any color scheme you desire for your pumpkin makeover; don't feel that you have to stick to traditional fall colors.
A cheap dollar store pumpkin never looked so good!
Paint cheap pumpkins with chalk paint to start their transformation.
Create a beautiful handmade paper flower to embellish your painted pumpkin.
Use hot glue to attach embellishments to the painted pumpkin to complete the transformation.
