Tips for a GREAT-LOOKING Fall Porch
Creating a warm and welcoming fall porch is easy when you use these 4 porch design tips!
Pumpkins. Using what is available, like orange and other fall-colored pumpkins and gourds add an instant touch of autumn. Consider using pumpkins in different ways, like stacking, or filling a basket or sitting a few on a chair. Odd numbers work best when creating an eye-catching design.
Add a wreath... try different styles and colors.
Make it personal. Adding a monogram to a wreath is a great way to show your personality. Here I painted a "P" with craft paint and added whimsical polka dots. It's a fun playful wreath and the "P" adds a nice personal touch to the door.
Ribbon... Adding a nice bow can help tie your look together. Consider tying additional matching or complimentary ribbons onto planters or pumpkins to add to the overall look.
Mums the word. Adding plants (mums are a great choice) at varying heights is a great way to draw the eye to the door. These mums look ready for Halloween... but you get the picture!
