Trash to treasure dresser makeover

I just completed this dresser makeover for a client. When she brought it to me it was in pretty bad shape. Peeling veneer, gouges, paint flaking off, etc. it belonged to her parents and she asked me to take a shot a refinishing it. I am not one to back down from a sad looking piece, so I agreed! She allowed me to let my creative juices flow and after looking at her bedroom mood board I came up with a plan. I used CitriStrip to remove the remaining paint, filled all defects with wood filler and sanded the entire piece smooth. It was primed and then I took the piece into our spray booth and sprayed every inch. The paint really soaked into the grain so it took many coats! We replaced the hardware with some modern polished chrome knobs and pulls, and I just can't believe the end result! It's a showstopper if I do say so myself.
