How to Grow Bamboo in a Goldfish Bowl

My daughter had this idea and I think it turned out great. All the inhabitants of this large fishbowl are happy. :)
Here is the large fishbowl with goldfish, a Betta fish, and bamboo shoots growing in the bowl also.
Here is the pretty Betta fish. He's pretty happy with this arrangement.
This shows a fish "cave" to the goldfish if they want to hide from the Betta.
