That is beautiful vignette you have created, Natalie. I've been known to have keep dried hydrangeas around until the forsythia bloom the next spring, and in New York that is a LONG time!

Sheila, thank you.... oregano flowers bring in a lot of that purple that you love..... they look mostly cranberry in color, but put in with these other tones, and your eye picks up that purple.

Your arrangement gave me the idea for mine. I cut some Ligustrum branches with the purplish blackish berries, removed some leaves, and put them in a clear amathyst colored glass vase.
