First it will help if you mention where they are.If they are outside your home you will need to spray all around the foundation with bug b gone. This may help with the control, however it may not rid of all of them.

Yes I have heard Peppermint oil will do the trick and it smells good too. I am going to use some of Watkins its less expensive and you get more. You can do this inside and outside the house, Being as afraid of spiders as I am this is worth a try. Good luck, I also have a pest company come and spray for them and the bugs they eat. works great too.

spiders liked my shiny doorbell. I sprayed with RAID bug spray. They have not been there since. it has been more than a year now.

I agree with Connie, You can put some of the oil in a spray bottle and then fill with water and spray around. I put oil on cotton balls in small plastic (3 oz.) cups and sit them around the rooms in hidden places. Spiders hate the peppermint oil.

Get a cat. My cats eat spiders or my dogs step on them and kill them. Or get Orkin, the extermination company.

I agree with Grady. The best, all natural way to rid your home of spiders is to get a cat. I purchased a foreclosed home that was completely infested with spiders. I got a cat and set it loose in the house for a week before we moved in and there was not a spider to be found!

Osage Oranges .... aka "Monkey Balls" .... they are large( like a big grapefruit ) nut or seed from the Osage Tree and are also known as "HedgeApples" and are touted as spider repellents.... I tried the peppermint oil and I have a cat so I don't really have a problem in my apartment , but if i had a house , i'd try the osage oranges in the basement and garage and by the vents on the outside around the foundation .
