DIY Bright Fall Yarn Wreath
by

I wanted something bright and fun for our front door to transition into fall. The jewel tones and texture really pop off of our black door. This is easy to make, but requires a little patience to wrap the yarn and cut all the felt! I think the effort is worth it to have a custom wreath!
I used a large straw wreath form, yellow/gold yarn, and jewel toned felt to create this wreath.
Simply wrap the yarn, cut the felt into shapes, and hot glue onto the yarn. I use all eyeball method here for the shapes as well as where I placed them on the wreath.
The possibilities are endless with colors of yarn and felt. I like the pop of yellow off the black door. The jewel tones work well with fall colored mums and plants.
The black door is Valspar Kettle Black. This wreath really pops from the street!
