My 70's Kitchen Remodel

Our pretty 1974 one story seemed perfect until we moved in!
It looked great when we purchased then we realized it was old and nasty! Husband kept hitting his head on the vent, so we sold it!
We moved the double ovens to make a better space for the fridge, there's about 4 feet in front, flattened out the island for better counter space, refaced all cabinets turning the bottoms cabinets into drawers, love the shaker style, simple! Traded old worn white tile for wood tile, also put in a wood ceiling!
With the fridge in this location it was tight, plus do you need doors to your kitchen? Sold those too!
If you can enlarge this pic maybe you can see what we did to the ceiling, lighting was really poor so we added fan with 4 lights and 4 pot lights, but most of all love the beams and wood ceiling!
