Stunning DIY Artwork.....quick, Easy and Inexpensive!

Here is a canvas that routinely gets painted over at our house. I needed something new for it. Something a little bolder than usual...something really eye-catching.

I started by painting over the canvas 1/2 way with one of the colors and let it dry. I choose a bold blue.

Next I painted the other half of the canvas with the other color and overlapped it onto the blue. Using a metallic is particularly eye-catching. You can choose to do as much blending with the two colors as you'd like. I choose to not do much.

Now hang it on your wall to admire! So easy right!

If you are in need of an inexpensive canvas. Check a local thrift store for anything canvas in the size you would like. It doesn't matter how ugly it is. You'll paint over it anyways.
