Felt good to take a break in the schedule and help out Garden Hills Girl Scout Troop 2740.
by
The Landscape Guy-Atlanta & North GA
(IC: professional)
They procured a grant to improve a section of a park just behind the Atlanta International School-the purpose of their endeavor was to remove invasive plants and replace/augment with plants native to Georgia. The girls spent a lot of time cleaning up the area and removing the invasive plants (Privet, Ivy, Kudzu, etc) and contracted us to procure and plant the native plants-thanks to Stovall Nursery for their help in putting this together. The troop will now create a walkway out of donated wood chips so all can have easy access to the new plantings and signage.
