A Southern Home's 2015 Fall Tour

Its raining cats and dogs and a Hurricane is making its way past us, but in our house its smells of Pumpkin Spice and Vanilla and everything is aglow with candlelight and lanterns. All throughout the house, pumpkins and gourds and "all things Fall" abound. Come sit a spell....we'll eat some pumpkin muffins and chat. Come on in, y'all!
A large dough bowl is filled with small pumpkins, gourds, dried hydrangeas, moss and is topped with fresh grapevine.
My farmhouse kitchen features a collection of vintage kitchen scales, and this one nestles an heirloom pumpkin on a bed of moss.

Cleetus, the resident farmhouse pig, gets an extra special dressing with this eucalyptus, berry and cotton wreath with a multi-ribbon bow. The vintage blue and white tureen is filled to the brim with mini gourds. Come into the formal Dining Room...
The sideboard includes fresh, ornamental kale and mums planted in a vintage pink and white Staffordshire tureen, a collection of pheasant feathers in a vintage trophy mug and my fave vintage telephone.
A wooden box I made last year is filled with candles and an assortment of Fall greenery and dried flowers including NC Cotton. And just a glimpse at the Foyer Chest...
A Large wreath hangs over my blue metal arched mirror. A Spode Bread Box is planted with mums, dried magnolia leaves and hydrangea and moss.
