Jonnie Hammon on Oct 04, 2015Goo Gone, works, as does steel wool, after it soaks in hot water. If it covers a large section you may have to put it back in the water to soak some more. I always just start on another one, and continue this way. A little dish soap, or some vinegar, will aid in the loosening up, of the adhesive.Helpful Reply

Kari Sioux Tewksbury on Oct 04, 2015Oil. Oil is the key to breaking down the glue. I oft times rub areas like your trying to remove the labels from with a cotton ball of oil, cooking, wd40, motor oil, ect. After rubbing in let it sit for a few minutes & then use the inside of an orange peel to rub off what's left of the label or what ever tape glue I'm trying to remove.Helpful Reply

Janine on Oct 04, 2015When using Goo Gone, a great little tip is to place a single layer of an unfolded paper napkin over the sticky residue then saturate napkin with Goo Gone. Walk away for 15 minutes and when you return, it will wipe right off. Then wash with soapy water.Helpful Reply
