Coat Rack With A Mackenzie-Child's Flair

I had this old coat rack that use to be in the children's room when they were young. It was old and really didn't fit anywhere.
You may have or had one like this back in the day.
The original hangers were gold so I thought I would change them out for a bit of black whimsy.
I painted the stand white (chalk paint of course...no prep, no sanding and no primer needed) and then added some checks.
I worked on the base and dragged in some yellows to add depth. Then a coat of poly and she is now in the entryway.....looking as cute as ever.
