DIY Inspiration Can Come From The Darndest Places

I woke up the other morning and, unbelievably I might add, the song "Muskrat Love" from 1976 blared away inside my head. The last time I thought of The Captain and Tenille I had a pink push button princess phone with a twenty foot extension cord and a Farrah Fawcett-do. What could have possibly triggered that anomaly I have no idea, but surprisingly the incident ended up inspiring me.
About a month before this I scored four framed art pieces at Target on clearance that I had no idea what I was going to do with. Then it hit me. All those art pieces needed was a little love...literally, L. O. V. E.!
I found some perfect antiqued bronze letters at Hobby Lobby and hot glued them in the center of the heart. Next, I painted the frames gold and white and hot glued white ribbon to the backs for hanging.
I also decided to add a bit of blue to the letters to help tie in with my bedroom colors. Now they're SUPER cute framed art pieces hanging in the perfect spot over my bed for dirt cheap! All I needed was The Captain and Tenille to help get it accomplished! Who knew?!

This is beautiful! Kudos! Out of curiosity, would you be willing to sell these?

Well, cute idea, but wouldn't be buying anything from Hobby Lobby!

@Jonathan Sweet What's wrong with Hobby Lobby? Love that place!

Very cute. If anyone has a Silhouette, you could cut out letters using vinyl and attach to the frames.
