How to Paint Faux Polka Dot Pumpkins

I'm usually a traditional kind of fall/Halloween decorator and use your typical orange pumpkins for décor both inside and out. But this year I had to try my hand at painting a faux pumpkin. I had seen so many floating around the internet that I thought to myself, "I can do this!"
What started off as an innocent spray-painting job turned into somewhat of an adventure.
Originally it was supposed to be a chalkboard pumpkin, but that didn't work out. So I improvised from there.
