Angel Made From Recycled Cardboard

Taking something that would have normally ended up in a landfill and creating something new and beautiful out of it is right up my alley. This time, I put together some recycled materials and created an angel!
Made from a recycled plastic coffee container and a cardboard box, she will now stand proudly as a pretty decoration in my RV. I had in mind a Christmas decoration, but I think I’ll keep her around all year!
All I used for this project was an old cardboard box, a coffee container and hot glue.
I cut out petal shaped pieces for the skirt.
Hot glued them onto the coffee container overlapping them to create the skirt.
For some sections of the angel, I separated the cardboard to reveal the corrugated side. I love the mix of textures.
Cut an oval for the face, glue in place. Cut a small piece for the nose, and a strip for the halo. Glue in place. The wings are created by cutting out a number of tear shaped pieces for feathers.
