Budget Halloween Decor, Simple Fabric Ghosts

Crafts Typically my Halloween decorating consists of putting out a few pumpkins and calling it good. Well this year my kids were accusing me of being a "Halloween Scrooge" and were begging for a few Halloween decorations.
I wasn't about to purchase a huge yard blowup, or giant lawn spider, but I decided I could tackle a simple budget Halloween craft.
I pulled out some FolkArt Paints, Stiffy Fabric Stiffener, and some glow in the dark Mod Podge. Then I grabbed a stack of white tea towels I had on hand.
Then I blew up a few balloons and set them on some cups. Next I dipped each tea towel in fabric stiffener and then wrung out the excess. Then I draped each towel over a balloon. Then I poured the glow in the dark mod podge over the balloons. I used my hands to spread the mod podge all over the balloon.
Once they were dry I removed the balloon and used the FolkArt Paint to put eyes on each ghost.
I strung a thread through each ghost and then tacked them to the ceiling. Now we have four cute little ghosts that greet our guests at the door. For more details and crafts like this head over to my blog's project gallery!
