When I desired to whip up a new burlap bulletin board to store notes and such, I snooped no further than my own home for a bunch of found objects. (it pays to hoard!) This build consists of simply screwing the components right onto the wall. Miter joins need not apply... this one's for cheaters. :)
A bulletin board with two ways to hang...
A frame was cut down to the desired size, then used as a template to trace out the bulletin board section from a piece of leftover fibre board sitting around.
A $2 sandbag from the hardware store was hot glued onto the board from behind.
Twine was cut to size, then knotted at the ends, attached with screws.
A small shelf was added for writing notes.
Both clothespins and pushpins can be used for this board. Tip: weather your clothespins by leaving them outside for a while.
Need an even easier idea? Use a mattress spring... I love cheating. :)http://www.funkyjunkinteriors.net/2010/03/so-you-think-its-old.html
