I have a coffee table with a veneer inlay and it started chipping and got worse as I was trying to fix it. About 3 pieces that are 1" long. I want to keep this pattern can someone help me fix it? Please...no pictures because they are on my phone.

I had a french provincial style desk that I got 'along side of the road' and tried to save the veneer top. When I could not, I cleaned, sanded and secured the top and then purchased a 'left over' piece of quartz from a supplier and put on top. It looks great and in fact, is more functional since I ordered the top slightly larger than the original desk. It takes heat, wet and anything we can dish out. Also, I did not adhere it to the top of the desk, I used rubber shelf liner to keep it from moving so if later I want to switch it out, I can. Love that the legs are still useable since they give the desk style. It is in my dining room under a window. I use it like a desk most of the time, yet during high traffic times such as holidays it is an extra sideboard.

George, you can send your pictures from your phone to your computer by clicking to share (it looks like a V laying on its side dots on each point) then choosing to email them. It's very easy to do. Without seeing what you are having the trouble with, it's hard to say for sure what would be the best way to help you and I'd really like to help you.

Heather Nates; Hamilton, ON, Canada I saw acouple of coffee tables on pinterest done with pennies covering the entire top. looks awesome. use e6000 epoxy to glue them. or you can tile it with glass or acrylic tiles...awesome statement and easy clean up.
