Refinishing a metal table

We "inherited" an old ugly table with our home. It had a chipped, black, dirty metal base with a laminate top. I spruced it up with some paint, Rub-n-buff, and a simple table cloth made from a drop cloth.

How frustrating that you lost all the before and during photos. Your after sure makes it hard to believe it was ever ugly though! You really did an awesome job making it into a lovely "Swan".
