Nature inspired these DIY'd cotton stems. Halfway through making them I realized I was using nature to make nature! Wait! are cotton balls nature??
These cotton stems were so totally easy to make. I had everything needed...including those nature cotton balls! :?
I made these on a Friday afternoon. The next day I went to a vintage market event. So many people were walking around with handmade cotton stems!

This turned into a mess first!
Then turned into these!
I took the middle pine scales from the cone and hot glued in a cross to a cotton ball.
Branches were gathered for the cotton plant. A dollop of hot glue added the cotton to the "plant."

Country Design Style-Jeanette on Nov 07, 2016Thanks! A group of women got together and make them as a group. They sent photos of them making them. Warmed my heart. That's why I do this.
