Z on Oct 13, 2015I found some at the link below, but it's basically the same thing as solar screening. If you don't need a pattern, you can buy the screening at HoDe or Ls for less than what you'll pay of the "fabric" version. https://www.chaircarepatio.com/c-281-vinyl-mesh-sling-fabrics.aspx Just searched further and see there are also some less expensive available on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/sling-chair-fabric Here's the solar screen at HoDe http://www.homedepot.com/s/solar%2520screen?NCNI-5 L's http://www.lowes.com/Search=solar+screen?storeId=10151&langId=-1&catalogId=10051&N=0&newSearch=true&Ntt=solar+screen#!Helpful Reply

Beverley on Oct 14, 2015I actually made my own - went to the fabric store and bought a specifically fabric designed for outside use - waited for a buy 1 get 2 free sale on outdoor fabric at FabricLand (Canada) (it was a woven vinyl like fabric which could be used to recover umbrellas and make cushions etc) , you could likely use other fabrics but remember the environment your chairs are in as interior fabrics won't stand up as well to weather and you could find yourself replacing them a lot more frequently. I used the old sling as my patter- then take out the "rod" that runs down the fabric channel and makes it so the fabric won't pull back out when you sit in it - set these aside to use in the new slings you make. Take the end caps on the chair frame and pull the old fabric out - cut your replacement fabric a bit wider to allow for hemming all sides. Just a caution - be careful not to make the folded hems too thick - I made the mistake of doing a proper double fold hem which made both inserting the "rod" and then pulling the newly created slings into place - remember you need to pull both sides at the same time (kind of back and forth to each side an inch or two at a time. Took some time but saved me a ton of $$. I re-slung the chairs over 5 years ago and they still work VERY well.Helpful Reply
