My Own Version of a Pinterest Hit

About a year ago I found the coolest repurpose upcycle project on Pinterest and I determined I wanted my own version. It took a long time to find exactly what I wanted, but eventually I did then put my husband to work in order to get it just like I wanted. It is now a table in our foyer. Below, I found this nigh stand/end table at a yard sale minus the door and drawer - I paid $1 for it with my husband complaining all the way to the truck.
Below you will see my Night Stand Inspiration - it's from Etsy and costs $500 - I wasn't going to pay THAT and I prefer Olive Green or Navy Blue.
During Big Trash Month, I scoured the curbs night after night to find just the right items - a rusty wire basket, an old car tag, a cool vintage logo - I got Sears Kenmore from a vintage fan we found and last a groovy drawer front with pull. Put them all together with some screws and maybe a little glue - I had my version of a $500 piece and it cost less than $10. I didn't distress it because i really don't care for that look.
Not bad, eh?

Love your hack, and besides who would ever pay $500.00 for the other one ? I'm almost positive that it probably won't sell. But yours is still worth that.......... ( = Great job, it was definitely worth the wait.

@Diena Cameron Thank you! I love the thrill of the hunt so it was loads of fun for me to wait and find just the pieces I wanted!
