Jeanette S on Feb 25, 2013These are beautiful, but the one thing that is missing is color. (Also, trim out the dead foliage.) Color can come from a bench, a piece of sculpture, some of those low growing bushes that add color in the winter, a colorful birdhouse or a series of birdhouses on poles, etc. It does not take a lot of gaudy things to add a spot of color. Think red, orange or yellow instead of the blues and grays.

Douglas Hunt on Feb 25, 2013I agree with Jeanette. I would be looking to add more evergreens or shrubs with colorful bark like red-twigged dogwood to add some more winter interest.
