Amazing plants, even in winter.
by
Erica Glasener
(IC: homeowner)
My Arum italicum 'Pictum' has just put up its winter foliage, a delight when most plants are brown. Hardy Zone 5-9. Plant some now in Zone 7.
It sticks around until the weather gets warm again next spring (early summer).

Erica Glasener on Dec 04, 2011Shade and if you are lucky it will spread but it is by no means aggressive in my garden.

Garden Rebel / Sims Landscaping, Co. on Dec 05, 2011Thank you Erica,I dont have this here in central Florida. It looks like it would fit into my sunken garden just fine. I love the exotic feel it brings to the table.
