Teresa Young Witters on Oct 25, 2015one of our son's has this in all 4 bathrooms. They love it. I hate it. It shows every water speck, every dust speck and must be cleaned weekly (at least). And yes, you seal it annually.Helpful Reply

Gail Sugalski on Oct 25, 2015Something MUCH better than granite.....QUARTZ! I recently gutted my kitchen.....after looking at the possibilities, I chose quartz and I am very happy with it. I got Black with silver specks....but they are very few and far between so as not to look too glitzy. My kitchen cabinets are white with black button knobs...I love my kitchen. Another possibility is Tempered Glass.....It is absolutely gorgeous! I have it in one of my bathrooms. (sink) Good Luck!Helpful Reply

Sherri on Oct 26, 2015We will be doing a kitchen remodel in a house we are buying. I, too, had considered black granite with silver specks (LOVE the glittery effect), but was told it would show EVERYTHING! I'm a neat freak and wasn't thrilled with that possibility. So, now, I am shopping for something else. Still toggling between Quartz and granite...they both have their ups and downs. We are on a budget, so we will probably go with the less expensive. Just be careful with quartz if you get it....it does scorch if you place hot items on it.Helpful Reply
