Help! The umbrella fell on my patio table and shattered the glass. I can't get a replacement from the manufacturer.
Wicker coffee table top warped

The top of our large wicker coffee table was warped in moving from having boxes piled on it. How can we straighten it out again?
What is Hardyboard? I have a coffee table and matching side table of wrought iron, in which the glass was broken. I wanted to replace the glass, but it would cost way too much. The tables are round. I am trying to think of a way to replace with something other than glass. Any ideas?
Call the local glass store and see what a replacement piece would cost. Do a comparison of that with how much time you want to spend on using the other techniques and/or what yo;u really want the finished product to look like.
Thank you. I did consult a glass store. They cost was very high - much more than I originally paid for both tables. Same is true of plexiglass. I also tried Home Depot thinking I would just replace with wood, but they only do straight cuts and the tables are round. Thanks for your input.
Did you ever hear of a jig saw!
Yes, I have heard of a jigsaw, but have never seen/or used one. Would that do the job if I bought a lengh of plywood?
Jay, Does the glass have to fit in anything like a frame or does it sit on top? I know I have seen pre-made round glass table tops. I am thinking either Walmart or Home Depot or Lowe's.
Sherry, I like the shabby mirror idea.
It fits in a frame
