Queen Size Barn wood headboard
Made using naturally aged wood. This headboard was made to hang on the wall and compliment any decor. Our Customer is going to add the finishing touches on the side trim and crown molding top. This headboard will hang on the wall like a picture when it is installed.

Good morning @Miranda - you are right, everything you add to the surface will darken is up. Your options, depending on the application are a water-based poly or regular poly, spray a clear cote or buff in a finishing wax. Let us know if that helps.

Good evening @Miranda - try using a water-based sealer. That will keep the color more true though most sealers and waxes will darken bare wood.
