Sad Old Oak Hutch Nobody Wanted, Now New Improved Chalk Painted Hutch

I sold my Oak dining room set and bought a new to me set. I tried to sell the hutch but nobody wanted it, so I painted it and now I Love it!
Old oak hutch
I cleaned it really good and then painted it with chalk paint from Lowe's, no sanding, but it took about 3 coats.
New improved chalk painted hutch
I painted the knobs and now it matches my new to me dining room set :)

Thank-you everyone for such nice comments! Mickey & Boo Boo, I had wanted to leave a portion of the Oak , my husband didn't, but I won and I am so glad I did it. I have seen this done before and knew that it was right for this old hutch :)
