Transform a weathered resin bird feeder to a stylish Easter Egg Holder using Chalked Paint and moss.
I painted this (free) old bird feeder rabbit with grey Chalked Paint so he would look more like stone and not cheap resin. It took one full coat and then a second to touch up the spots I had missed due to all the deep cracks and ridges. No need to wax this pretty lil guy. Perfect just the way he is. I used moss instead of plastic grass for a more earthy and elegant look.
Another idea for an earthy Easter decor look is to fill Glass and ceramic bowls with moss and fill with Easter candy or Easter Eggs. I love the look of my old Fish bowl filled with moss. Great inexpensive way to display my collection of ceramic Easter eggs. I would put candy in it, but It would be gone in a day. :) You don't have to spend a fortune to have elegant looks in your home.
