Janet Pizaro on Nov 16, 2015I think I would do the framing first. If you decide down the road you might want to change or remove the wall paper then it would be under the molding.Helpful Reply

B. Enne on Nov 17, 2015The windows in my cottage were framed after wallpapering by the previous owner, and we were never able to remove it properly, even after scoring well. Having said that, it does give a cleaner line overall, but I wouldn't do it.Helpful Reply

Terrie Neudorf on Nov 20, 2015Always frame first . Then wall paper will be easier to remove later . And prime the walls too. Some people don't and you leave bad mess for the person who has the house next if you don't.Helpful Reply
