Modern Girl Chic Bedroom Makeover

With my kids being out of the baby stage for years, our nursery room was under-utilized for far too long. It served as a guest room 2 years ago when my youngest and her older sister decided to share a room together. Basically, my youngest moved into her big sister's room which happens to be the smallest bedroom in the house.
Recently, I decided it was time to move the girls into a bigger room. Saying goodbye to the nursery room was long overdue! Below is a photo of the room in transition. We had to move a queen-sized bed out of this room since this nursery room was used as a guest room for out-of-town visitors.
Here's how the room looks today after its big makeover! The look I was going after was "modern girl chic." I wanted it to be girly and feminine but yet with modern touches. It's definitely a room I would've wanted as a little girl.
For their room, I did some DIY decorative projects such as this scallop-shaped banner and the hanging tulle pom poms.

My daughters say "It's like waking up to a PARTY every morning." Exactly...what I was going after! :)
I also did a mini-gallery wall using these gold mirrors purchased for $5.00 at a local flea market.
How do 2 girls sleep on a twin bed? Well, if the bed has a trundle underneath, it's easy! I love how we can slide this bed halfway in for more space to walk around when not in use. It will close all the way if you remove all bedding from the lower bed.
This is the view when you walk into the room. Love that chalkboard sign and deer head mount. Let's just say I bedazzled them a bit with some decorative elements. :)
These white baskets and pretty teal boxes keep this area from looking cluttered. I used them to corral all those little stuffed animals and miscellaneous craft items.
Here's a look at that bed again. Love that "Hello Lovely" pillow.

First of all, nice job. I love how modern the room is and how clutter free. Definetely a room I would have loved as a little girl. But my question is, you mentioned that you made the Pom Poms but how did you make them?

Loved this reno, thanks for sharing! What style did you follow and have you used any interior design soft before doing the renovation?

Do you mind if I try to redesign this space in 3d?
