Johnchip on Nov 22, 2015Totally agree with open air, wicker idea, but paint them white /off white or match room color so that will make them also disappear more and open the space visually larger. Use light color solid fabric for cushions will also help make room appear larger. Then you can use accent fabric pillows with patterns, but keep them also light color and try like branches or nature patterns. Also keep them in the same color families, don't go bohemian. Remember, everything you put in that room that is not matching neutral will draw your eye's attention and pull the room in closer. You want it to push away for you so the space itself seems bigger.Helpful Reply
