Forget Ribbon, Use Rope! DIY Christmas Wreath Display Rail

Easy
Build this Christmas Wreath Display Rail from only a few boards and some hardware. And instead of the conventional ribbon, I hung the wreaths with sisal rope for a nice clean, rustic, simple look. I'm not much for bows :)
The rail is made from a 1x6 base with 1x2 trim. It's a full 6' wide to hang 3 wreaths and fill an open wall.
Use a brad nailer and glue to fasten the trim to the main board.
Add trim pieces to define the 3 sections and mounting blocks for the wreath hanging hardware. For full measurements and a tutorial post, follow the blog post link at the bottom.
I used a Kona stain and a top coat of polyurethane.
Dual coat hanger hooks make the perfect mount for the sisal rope.
I used boxwood wreaths and sisal rope to hang them.
