Repainting kitchen cabinets

The cabinets from the mid-90s quickly discolored and yellowed. They do not feel like wood, and show no grain, so I believe they are a type of laminate.

its possible rubber wood .find a good cleaning product do a test spot.first laminate dosent faid you can try that 1st other than that i dont know with out seeing it

All finishes are paintable. If in fact the cabinets are not laminate you can clean them,prime them use latex paint and seal them. If you do not like the look of that more options would be to chalk paint and spray paint.

Iused the new product at the hardware store for redoing my cabinets and it worked like a charm and they also have the kits to do your countertops
