Ideas for small brass bells?

I have 6 small brass bells that have sentimental value. Looking for ideas on what to do with them. Open to anything...indoor/outdoor...just want to have them on display to enjoy. I've looked around but am not finding any good ideas. They look like the ones in the photo, only more 'rustic' ;)

If you don't want to change the look then buy a small curio cabinet and display as is.

@Janet Pizaro Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't considered just displaying them, lol. Sweet and simple!

Definitely use as a Christmas decoration on your Christmas Tree. Then display them on a side table or curio cabinet.

When I was a little girl....about 70 years ago....we had a string of bells like this on the front door knob. They let us know any time the door opened. As I recall, they were on a silk cord with a tassel on the bottom. Wish I still had them.

@Jane Mine are from way back. They have a lot of 'patina'.

When I lived in Germany they tied them on a pretty rope, single file vertically. Approximately 4 inches apart according to size. Biggest at the top & smallest at bottom. Hang like a windchime inside or on the door. Braided ropes are pretty. You can hang them in a window or a corner, too.

Wind chimes with the bells and old silverware, drilled, ready to hang.

I picture them sitting on a pretty oval tray with pinecone and Christmas ornaments. After the holidays change out the embellishments to fit the season. They're truly very pretty!

Throwin' my hat in the ring for bells on a rope as well. We have several of these hanging around the house. Aside from looking awesome, when they ring, they will clear the energy of your home. We LOVE them!

Since they are of sentimental value, treat them as if they are more valuable than they are. Make velvet lined box for each and bring them out ceremoniously on those special days to which the sentiment is attached and display. IE birthday, Valentine's day/week etc. OR have a shadow box/frame made and hang so you can see them everyday as you pass them. OR in a bell glass display case. I'm a purest so if an item does not fulfill its purpose it seems to be a waste so if a bell doesn't ring, it's not a bell however if its purpose is to remind you of something/someone then display them prominently.

I think you should use them to make bedroom doorknob hangers for the holidays.

I have some little bells that I've hung from a braided ribbon above my front door so that everytime my front door opens or close I hear their gentle ring and think of my Mom. It acts as an added little door alarm like those used in stores years ago.

Thanks all, for your thoughts and ideas. I'm leaning towards using them at my front door in some way. I hate my doorbell so when it stopped working, I purposely left it alone. I should find a creative way to turn them into a 'manual' doorbell, lol. They do jingle, quite loudly!

Tie them to the end of beaded suncatchers. Hang them outside near sidewalks/pathways so that they jingle when you brush by them. Or hand the sunc

I have used these to make wind chimes. I added small eye hooks to the bottom of a brass tea kettle and attached the bells with fish line. They sound lovely!

@CeCe Graphenteen How did you attach the hooks? That sounds interesting!

I haven't read all of the responses but I thought of a lovely tray and the bells sitting on them. On the coffee table or small table just inside the front door. They will be so hard to resist for people. See who has the will power not to pick them up and give them a ring. Fun

Here is what I have done with them for now. Thanks again for all the ideas!

I drilled holes through the bottom of the teakettle, then twisted eye hooks into some wooden beads from the inside.
