Glaynebaker on Nov 29, 2015They are a blank canvas; what do you want to do with them? What do you want to put on them? Use them as the background fabric for most anything then paint, embroider, decoupage them as the piece (pillows, throws, shower curtains, book covers, etc.) requires.Helpful Reply

Joline Cosman on Nov 29, 2015Have you replaced the drapes on the window??? I am gonna be the jerk here and suggest you put them on Craigslist. Either for sale, or free. Why? Because fabric is expensive, and I feel someone could use them for their windows !! That IS up-cycling ! I know this isn't the answer you want. I am all for up-cycling !!! Honest ! And I have to say I cringe at the thought of cutting those curtains !!! People who need them are usually working nights to make ends meet. That's all I have..... Sorry. :)Helpful Reply

Snapoutofit on Dec 02, 2015since you are moving, is there a room or a focal point wall that you would want to use the fabric to cover the wall? Maybe you have a collection of white plates, or red plates that you want to showcase; by adding a color to the background they would really pop. It is done by using liquid fabric starch ----You can take it down (seasonal?) http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/how-to-make-removable-fabric-w-74483Helpful Reply
