Add food coloring to Elmer's glue and paint outside of mason jar; will dry clear blue.

You can also tint Mod Podge and dry it in the oven. Lots of instructions online.

I accidentally tinted a jar using bluing for a salt crystals garden I did... the mixture for the garden left the jar that I mixed it up in the blue color of the bluing wouldnt wash out... Not sure you want to go that route to do it but it was a side effect of the project
